Hey Everyone! So recently I was given the opportunity to try some hair extensions from a company called Irresistible Me. I was contacted by them, and they graciously let me choose some hair extensions to review. I've finally got the time to let you guys know what I thought!
The extensions that I chose were the Remy Royal Platinum Blonde 18" length, and 200g weight. (the thickest available)The extensions come as follows: (2) 1 clip pieces, (5) 2 clip pieces, (2) 3 clip pieces, and (1) large four clip piece that is triple layered for added volume. When they arrived I knew right away the blonde was perfect for the ends of my ombre, but the top definitely had to be colored. Here is a before and after piece!
As you can see, they went through quite the transformation. When I first got them, I colored the tops with a light brown. It turned the hair extensions grey, so I knew I had to do something else! I ended up filling them with a Clairol auburn shade, and then coloring with another Clairol color on top. They turned out a bit too dark, so I had to soak them in dish soap overnight. That really took the color down a few shades, and trust me when I say that these extensions have been put through the ringer. They have held up well, and I am impressed with how soft they still are. They style easily, and they hold curl really well.
Above you can see how they come packaged. I love that there is a separate pouch that gives you a first impression of the hair extensions without having to open the whole thing. This makes sure that you can return/exchange them with no problem.
Below you can see what I used to color them. They are still a bit too dark, and a little too cool toned to be a perfect match, but luckily for me, Ombre is very forgiving! The clips are very sturdy, and easy to apply. They grab onto my super fine hair with no issue, and although they are definitely heavy, they are comfortable to wear!
If you are looking for extensions to put in when you want to channel you inner Beyonce, I would definitely recommend these. If you want to wear your extensions everyday, I would opt for the sew in kind, simply for convienence.
Most of the extensions were in great condition when they arrived. I had a few that seemed to have some breakage near the top, but nothing that is noticeable when you wear them.
Below I have posted their website, if you are interested in these hair extensions, I would definitely recommend them. They were amazing with helping me choose my color, and even asked for a picture of the back of my hair to help match the correct ones. The shipping wa super fast, and I can't wait to wear these and channel my inner Beyonce!
The company also makes hair tools, and I am very interested in the curling wands!
Some blog posts might seem ridiculous. This is a safe environment for Beauty Junkies! If you bought something just because of the packaging, or you find yourself procrastinating by swatching, this is the place for you.
