As I sit here on a beautiful hot day, seriously considering if I should change my Facebook status to "In a Relationship" with my fan, I am dreaming of Fall fashion and pumpkin flavoured everything. Fall collections are starting to roll into stores, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited. I absolutely love Summer, but there is something about that first crisp morning that means a lot to me. Lise Watier as always did not disappoint. Let's dive in and talk about the limited pieces of the Chic & Rustique collection!
These are the things that always sell through first, so if they spark your interest, don't waste any time tracking them down! These shadows are the cream to powder formula that we have all come to love from Lise Watier, and I think they are a great mix of neutrals, with a few fall "pops". This palette retails for $44.00 CAD and I really have nothing bad to say about it! My only tweak that I would have made, was to include an actual brush. With the size of the palette, I think they could have done a nice double ended brush that would have made it a little more travel friendly. That being said, I am not a snob when it comes to sponge tip applicators, and you can definitely achieve a great look using them. The shadows are buttery and do not result with a lot of fallout. They do not crease on my eyelids, and that burnt reddy-orange tone is life for me right now. The colours that they chose look so great on all eye colours, and I really think anyone could use this palette.
The next product is also something that was right up my alley. The Eclat Velour Cheek and Lips is an absolutely stunning shade. During the Fall months I usually am a little more heavy handed with my eyeshadows and my eyeliners. Pairing a more bold eye look with a neutral soft cheek or lip, is a look that works for everyone! This whipped mousse texture blends onto the skin like a dream, and would work well as a base for a powder blush if you so desired. Tapped onto the lips, this gives a soft flush of peachy colour, I like to use this on top of deeper lip colours, just to give some dimension on the centre of the bottom lip. I also love the packaging. Its small, and can easily be thrown in the smallest of clutches for on the go nights. This blush/lip power duo retails for $24.00 CAD, and is limited edition for the Fall months!
Along with these limited items, Lise Watier has also launched several new eyeliners, a sculpting palette, a black/brown mascara and a blurring compact that I am excited to play with a little more. I have taken some photos/swatches of the items... If you guys would like me to review any of them individually, let me know in the comments!

If you guys follow my YouTube channel (GirlMetBlush) you probably already know that I have never actually tried a Sigma brush. It's mind boggling I know, but I always saw influencers from the US rave about them, and I knew that it wasn't something I could find in store in Halifax, so I never pushed to get them in my hands. Sigma was founded in 2009 and if you follow the makeup world in the least, you have definitely heard of them! (Seriously, if I had a dollar for everytime I heard someone say F80 (referring to one of their most popular face brushes) I would be rich. But sometimes when everybody is talking about something, there is good reason. And recently I was given the opportunity to try my first Sigma brush out courtesy of www.nailpolishcanada.com
I jumped at the opportunity and was sent the E45 Small Tapered Blending Brush, and I have to honestly say, I have used this everyday since it was sent to me. It is the perfect brush for so many things, I almost wish I had multiples of them. Everything from highlighting the inner corner of my eye, to smudging out shadow on my lower lash line! Not to mention it is the perfect brush to use if you are looking for the ever popular cut crease look.
The brush itself is very well made, and I wanted to hold off writing the review to see how it would handle some serious usage and washing. I have had zero issues with shedding, and the brush easily goes back to its original shape after washing. The feral is very well made, and I can tell this is a brush that I will have for years and years. For price point, these are definitely not the most expensive brushes nor the cheapest, but for the quality I think they are well worth the price. Nail Polish Canada also does free shipping within Canada on orders of $29.00 or more. They also do kits, which always end up getting you a better deal.
I wanted to put a picture down of this brush next to my favourite crease brush. The Lancome 17 has always been my soft spot for blending. Its something that I use daily for transition colours in the crease, or to go over an entire eye look. It is definitely more fluffy, which is why I welcomed the more tapered shape of the Sigma brush in my collection.
You can click right here to go directly to the Sigma selection. As soon as my make ban of 2016 is over, I will definitely be buying some of the sets they have! So excited that they offer free shipping, and I can finally get myself in the loop!
Thanks so much guys, I will talk to you soon! Also, if you have seen anything about the new Benefit Brow Collection (Launching this June!) Watch my latest video here to get all of the information!

Makeup trends like anything else, go through phases. Right now one of the highly popular trends are liquid lipsticks. I have dabbled in many different formulas, and let's be honest... My lips have paid the price. So many formulas tend to be drying, cakey, and simply uncomfortable to wear. Lise Watier has really impressed me with their new formula of the Baiser Satin lip products. These apply smoothly, give great opaque coverage, last for a long time on the lips, but feel very comfortable. I don't feel the need to top these with a gloss or a balm, but I have used a light lip balm underneath, and it didn't seem to have any impact on the wear of the product. These lippies retail for $28.00 CAD and will get you 6ml of product. The doe foot applicator seems to have a hole in the middle, to hold product. During application this seems to help give you an even application without having to dip back into the product several times. Short story, I love these and I definitely recommend them! Now onto the swatches...

Some blog posts might seem ridiculous. This is a safe environment for Beauty Junkies! If you bought something just because of the packaging, or you find yourself procrastinating by swatching, this is the place for you.
