Sometimes a product launches that just makes me squeal with excitement. Normally these products are highlighters and blushes, but this time an eyeshadow launch gave me the best high one could ask for. The Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow collection has had me weak in the knees for the past week.
Magnificent Metals are nothing new to the brand, they had the original launch which were small potted eyeshadows that truly ended up being beautiful but difficult to work with. They were crumbly and produced a ton of fallout. Most of the shades have already been discontinued, but these new kids in town are ready to pick up the slack.
Eight shades all boast the glitter and gleam that sparkle lovers will appreciate immediately. The formula feels cooling upon application, and wore all day for me without creasing. They can be easily mixed and matched, and look amazing as an inner corner highlight. I like to use the doe foot applicator to pack the product on my lid, and then blend with my ring finger. I experienced zero fallout while applying, and only noticed a few specks of glitter that fell during wear time. All of the colours swatched incredibly well, with the exception of Gold Goddess. That was the only one that was a little patchy and harder to work with. I will stop gabbing and get to what we really want to see. The swatches!
For anyone that is looking for an inner corner highlight, Diamond Dust is for you. It's also the perfect shade to use a topper over other shades, to really give you that pop.
Where were these shadows for my New Years Eve party!? Luckily, I have an event coming up in a couple of weeks, and these will be shining front and centre!
What at do you guys think of these shadows?
